Giordano Named First Heritage Financial CEO

Philadelphia, PA — First Heritage Financial, LLC, the credit union-owned mortgage service provider based in Philadelphia, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Giordano as Chief Executive Officer effective April 30, 2012. Giordano has been with First Heritage since December, 1999, most recently as Vice President/Director of Mortgage Services.

First Heritage Financial, LLC, a credit union-owned company, provides turnkey, behindthe-scenes mortgage support to 57 partner credit unions that have combined assets of over $5.5 billion and more than 698,000 members throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. First Heritage services include applications and disclosures, processing and underwriting, closing, post-closing, funding, delivery and servicing.

A business and economics major at Vanderbilt University, Giordano began is career in the mortgage industry with Eastern Mortgage Services in 1994 as a Director/ Assistant Vice President, and Manager of Field Services. In 1998, Giordano moved to Phoenix Mortgage Company as an Executive Mortgage Banker and then joined First Heritage Financial in 1999 as the Director of Mortgage Services.

First Heritage Financial began as a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Heritage Federal Credit Union, a $1.15 billion member-owned financial cooperative that is the country’s 149th largest credit union. In August 2011, Service 1st Federal Credit Union, Danville, PA; Erie Federal Credit Union, Erie, PA; and People First Federal Credit Union, Allentown, PA, purchased ownership positions in First Heritage.
